The weather in Upper Michigan is known to be quite fickle, the daily forecast not meaning much to most yoopers.

This means that hot summer days, though they are few and far between, can swoop in at a moments notice and make you wish you we neck deep in Lake Superior all day. Brooke and Andy's wedding day in 2024 was one of those sweltering days. But the humidity and high temps didn't put a damper on their gorgeous celebration. Amongst some of Marquette's most iconic scenes like McCarty's Cover and Lower Harbor, love and joy beamed brighter than the sun. "Dylan took our wedding photos for our August wedding in Marquette, MI, and he was incredible!


We are not used to being photographed professionally, and Dylan gave us the right level of guidance and direction during the portrait portions - not too much but enough so that we didn't feel awkward in front of the camera. Beyond our portraits, Dylan went above and beyond to capture everything at our wedding from great candids of our guests to beautiful detail photos. Many of our guests commented on how impressed they were with Dylan's commitment to capturing the event.


Furthermore, Dylan was super pleasant to work with. He was flexible in supporting our wedding day schedule including being willing to shuttle us from our ceremony to the boat that took us to our reception.


And, importantly, we love the way the photos turned out! They feature colors and candids and feel very lively, which we wanted. Dylan understood our vision and captured our day beautifully.

Meet your Marquette Wedding Photographer


Hey! I'm Dylan, an Upper Peninsula native and I've been bringing my unique eye and expertise to weddings all over the world since 2013. My mission is to help couples celebrate their love in the most peaceful and authentic way possible—whether that means hiking Sugarloaf Mountain at sunrise, ditching every tradition, or jumping in Lake Superior after the ceremony, I'm here for it all. I spend every summer in Michigan, and while I'm not golfing or sauna-swimming in Lake Superior I love working with couples who want to enjoy every second of their wedding in Marquette while I artfully capture each precious moment.
