As destination wedding photographer in Spain, I get almost all of my inspiration from capturing authentic, emotional moments. That said, this styled shoot was an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity with some legends of the European wedding world. 


While I was pondering the idea of having my brother and his partner model for me during a relaxing trip to Cadiz with our mum, I noticed Opi (of Open the Door Events) and Joy (an acclaimed Spanish wedding photographer: @joyzamoraphoto) were looking for a hot, real couple for a shoot. It looked like I could feed two birds with one scone, so I contacted Joy and asked my brother if they’d be up for a bit more than a relaxed photo session around Cádiz. Thankfully they agreed and the rest is what we now call their ‘fake wedding.’ 😝


It was great meeting the AMAZING team that was brought together (credits below) and taking these photos alongside Joy. All of them create such beautiful work for lucky couples all over the world.

meet your Cadiz photographer


Hey! I'm Dylan, a Spain based wedding photographer and I've been bringing my unique eye and expertise to weddings and couples sessions all over the world since 2013. My mission is to help couples celebrate their love in the most peaceful and authentic way possible—whether that means hiking in the Guadarrama mountains at sunrise, riding the metro, or searching out the perfect paella spot, I'm here for it all. I've lived in Spain for 7 years and while I'm not meeting friends at the rock climbing gym or grabbing a coffee at the local roaster, I love working with couples who are looking for an experienced documentary photographer to capture this unique moment in their love story.
